Our Florence Knoll ottoman is based on a classic contemporary design. The linear silhouette and sleek design are perfectly suited for modern living and a perfect match for our Florence sofa. Used in conjunction with a matching sofa, the set becomes a multi-purpose set that is both beautiful and practical. Its versatility is unsurpassed in that it can be used to create a left-facing chaise section, right-facing chaise section, used as an ottoman in front of the sofa or placed elsewhere to compliment the sofa. The body of the ottoman is wrapped in top-grain italian leather with hand-tufted buttons and is framed on top of a hand polished stainless steel frame. Designed in 1954 as part of her Lounge Collection, it has the styling of a 60s piece, but still compliments contemporary styles of today. The frame is constructed of hardwood and all frames are hand crafted with great care and attention to comfort and durability. Our stainless steel is always polished to a nickel finish with a high shine. Not brushed. We use a 304 grade of steel, which is very sturdy. Metal shop is in house so we produce our own frames.
